Sara says: CHOMP!

Ok, there really was no chomping as I missed the feeding season, but there were hissing sounds!

Matt and I just staycationed in Hot Springs, Arkansas for the Documentary Film Fest. We had a little time to spare on our way home and we stumbled upon the Arkansas Alligator Farm and Petting Zoo. How could we say no to that?!

We also stopped by a little aquarium located in downtown Hot Springs in between films. Our trip was kind of loaded with unexpected wildlife encounters...

We found this wee lizard, an anole maybe, sitting on a chair in our hotel room BOTH mornings we were there!

And that was just the start to our critter-filled-funtimes!

It was a beautiful day at the alligator farm and I had some great light for my shabby iPhone to work with. I'm pretty pleased with the pictures! And holy cow, you could get really close to these guys!

More about Hot Springs later this week. Hope you all are having a lovely one! It's finally beginning to feel like Fall around here.
